The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released official notification for 368 posts of Section Controller. In a notification released on 14th September 2025, online applications are invited by RRBs from eligible Indian Nationals and other nationals as brought out at Para D 4.0 of this CEN for the posts of Section Controller in various Zonal Railways of Indian Railways. The online application process will commence from September 15th, 2025, and will close on October 14, 2025. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must hold a Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Age Limit

• The age of the applicant must be between 20 and 33 years as of January 1, 2026. Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) as per government rules. No age relaxation is allowed to SC/ST/OBC-NCL (Non- Creamy Layer) candidates applying against unreserved vacancies.

Selection Process

The selection process consists following stages:

• Computer Based Test (CBT): Candidates equal to 8 times the number of vacancies will be selected from each of the communities i.e. UR, OBC-NCL, SC, ST and EWS (including Ex SM) for the CBAT.
• CBAT: The candidates need to secure a minimum T-Score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries to qualify.
• Document Verification: Based on the performance of candidates in CBAT, a merit list will be drawn with 70% weightage for the marks obtained in CBT and 30%weightage for marks obtained in CBAT.
• Medical Examination: Such shortlisted candidates should produce the Vision Certificate in the prescribed format as per Annexure VI in Original during CBAT, failing which they will not be permitted to appear in the CBAT.

2. Candidate must first create an account for this CEN by using the link provided on the official RRB website.
3. Candidates who have already created account, can login with previous username and password
4. Click on “Apply Online” link.
5. Fill the application form with Personal, Contact, and Educational Details.
6. Upload the scannned documents such as Photo, Signature, Educational Certificates.
7. Pay application fee of Rs. 500.
8. Submit and take screenshot for future reference.
